You absolutely MUST understand attraction marketing. Huh? Attraction what? If you just thought that or have no clue what attraction marketing is, then you need to take some time to learn it. This is probably the #1 thing that 95% of network marketers are missing. This is basically the process of you going from a hunter to the hunted. Once you’ve mastered attraction marketing people will be seeking YOU out to join your network marketing business.
In a nutshell with attraction marketing you will need to give people a ton of VALUE first, so that you become a leader in your niche. Then magic will start to happen (at least that’s what it feels like; it’s actually psychological magic, which is a whole different discussion) and people will begin jumping over each other to come to you and see what you have to offer. So would your rather chase and stalk people, or would you rather have people tripping over each other to come to you?

You need a target market. If you’re going to have any success with network marketing online, you need to establish a target market. Going after anyone that is breathing is NOT a target market and I GUARANTEE you that you will fail with network marketing online with such a broad target market.
For the network marketing industry, the easiest and most effective target market to go after is other network marketers. What??? Other network marketers? Yes, go after other network marketers who haven’t found the success they want, who aren’t happy with their company, or who just haven’t received the proper training (so they are likely struggling, but looking for someone like you who can show them the light).
Think about it. These people already believe in network marketing (no more “pyramid scheme” discussions). They already understand the basics of our industry. It’s just a matter of attracting these people (through attraction marketing), and then getting them in front of your presentation inside of your marketing funnel (more on that next).
So would you rather pitch Aunt Sue who knows nothing about network marketing except that she thinks it’s a pyramid scheme, or would you rather have an experienced network marketer come to YOU who just needs a leader and some direction?

You need a marketing funnel that follows the funded proposal model. This is the next secret to network marketing online and it is KEY if you don’t want to go broke when trying to generate leads online. First, you need a funnel to get people into (a series of web pages that people go through after entering their information on a capture page).
Next, that funnel should give people valuable training, and then offer them a lower priced item (approx. $30 to $100) on the front end for them to purchase (it must be helpful and valuable to your target market). This will cover your advertising costs and “fund” your lead generation.
It is a fact that even the best recruiters in the network marketing industry will get more No’s then they do Yes’s. So by using a funded proposal model you will make money even when you get the No’s and you’ll have all of your advertising paid for and likely make a profit. If you were to immediately throw your business presentation in front of someone through paid advertising then you WILL spend yourself out of the business and lose your shirt in the process.
